Corydalis (Corydalis ambigua) is a small perennial of East Asian woodland floors, rising only 20 cm in spring with delicate blue-green divided leaves and short spikes of blue-purple spurred flowers, from a round yellow tuber. The tuber is dug in early summer, briefly boiled and dried for herbal use.
