White Mulberry (Morus alba) is a deciduous tree of Chinese origin reaching 15 meters, whose glossy lobed leaves feed the silkworm. For Sang Zhi the young supple twigs are cut in late spring while still green, sliced into thin rounds and dried for herbal use. Our Sang Zhi Alcohol-Free Liquid Extract is crafted from select dried twig, cold-macerated in small batches in a Vegetable Glycerin USP base and lab tested for identity and purity.
